Account & Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your Newsly account and all associated data at any time. We handle all requests by email.
1. How to request deletion
Send an email from the address registered with Newsly to Info@ukfintech.uk with the subject “Account deletion request”. You do not need to give a reason.
2. Verification
We use the address you send from to verify ownership of the account. We may ask for additional confirmation if the address does not match a registered account.
3. What is deleted
Your account data (email and name from Google Sign-In), reading history, followed sources, bookmarks, comments, and your push notification (FCM) token.
4. What we may retain
We may keep a minimal amount of data where we have a legal obligation or to prevent fraud, and aggregated data that does not identify you.
5. Timeframe
We acknowledge your request within 7 days and delete your personal data within 30 days. Questions: Info@ukfintech.uk — UK Fintech.
6. Using Newsly without an account
You can use Newsly in guest mode without creating an account at all; in that case we collect no account data.
