1. Data we collect

Account data (email and name) when you register or sign in with Google; a push notification token (FCM) to deliver alerts; approximate, city-level location to show your weather; and your reading history and followed sources to personalize your feed. In guest mode, no account data is collected.

2. How we use it

To operate the service, personalize your feed around your interests, send the notifications you have enabled, show local weather, and improve performance and reliability.

3. Third parties

We use Google and Firebase services (sign-in, push notifications). Their processing is governed by their own policies. We do not sell your personal data or share it for marketing purposes.

4. Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your personal data is deleted within a reasonable period, except where we are legally required to retain it.

5. Your rights

You may access, correct or request deletion of your data, and you may turn off notifications or revoke location permission at any time from the app or your device settings.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Children

The service is not directed at anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If we learn that we have, we delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy and will announce any material change in the app.
